Windsong School, from its inception, has acted on the belief that this unique education should be available to all families who seek it, regardless of their economic status. As such, Windsong School is able to offer a limited amount of tuition assistance to qualifying families. Please note that tuition assistance applies only to tuition and not to fees.
Who is eligible to apply for tuition assistance?
New families with a child in their final year of kindergarten or in the grades are eligible to apply. Returning families with a child in any year of kindergarten or in the grades are eligible to apply.
What is the deadline to apply for tuition assistance?
Windsong is able to accept tuition assistance applications from eligible families year-round.
However, families who apply during priority admissions and return a complete tuition assistance application by the priority deadline. For the 2024-2025 school year, this date is TBA. After that, assistance is awarded as available and as completed applications are received.
How do I apply for tuition assistance?
Contact administration at admin@spokanewindschool.org within 24 hours of submitting your child(ren)’s application with the message you would like to apply for tuition assistance.
What if the amount of assistance I’m offered doesn’t meet my financial need?
Windsong strives to meet families’ financial needs in balance with the school’s finances. If the assistance offer doesn’t adequately meet a family’s financial needs, they may ask for a review and the school will determine if further assistance may be available.
Do I need to reapply for assistance each year?
Yes, Windsong requires that families re-apply each year as need may increase or decrease as circumstances change.
